Have You Seen the News?

The most significant offense to some people is you saying that you do not intend to vote. It’s not because they care about my right to choose a candidate (or no candidate), it’s because the media has led them to believe that we have a moral obligation to vote for the candidate they’ve spoonfed us.

I could agree more that TV has become the idiot-box our elders feared it would. We should all pick up a book at least as often as we pick up a remote.
